House. 1597. Timber-framed and brick, rendered over, with
stone flagged roof. Irregular form, the result of several
phases of development.
EXTERIOR AND PLAN: 2 storeys, apparently a 2-unit plan,
extended by a single bay to the rear. Cruck frame exposed in
gable wall facing street, which has single (renewed) window on
each floor, and entrance in gabled porch to the left.
Timber-framed storey porch towards centre of return elevation,
which also has renewed windows. Axial stack, and remains of
early stone stack projecting from rear wall.
