House, now in use as offices. c1820. Brick with stone plinth
and slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 4-window range, with doorway to left of
centre giving access to entrance and stair hall. Pedimented
case with Ionic columns with foliate capitals. 12-pane sash
windows with fine glazing bars, and flat arched gauged brick
heads. Stone sills, forming continuous band to upper storeys.
Moulded wood eaves cornice. Single window return to north,
with Venetian windows to ground and first floors (blind
painted on ground floor, and partially blocked to first
floor); rear wing to south.
INTERIOR: retains original layout and many details including
staircase with cast-iron balusters, plaster cornices, and
plaster bracketed arch in entrance hall.
