Office building, purpose built and dated 1903. Brick and
terracotta with slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 2-window range. Advanced entrance bay to
right, with moulded segmentally arched architrave to doorway
and segmental pediment above, with coat of arms in low relief.
2-light mullioned window to first floor, the segmental
hoodmould echoed in curve of pedimented parapet. left hand bay
has 3-light mullioned and transomed window on each floor, with
hoodmould over ground-floor window. Parapet to eaves, with
blank shields forming panelled frieze. Gable end stack.
5-window return range.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: a low brick and terracotta boundary wall
with concave arched parapet carrying cast-iron railings
adjoins the building enclosing a small yard to the front.
