House or pair of houses, now partially in use as offices.
Early C18. Painted brick with slate roof.
3-storey, 3-window, range with principal entrance in centre.
Stone doorcase with Gibbs surround and stepped voussoirs and
keystone supporting heavy entablature. 6-panelled door.
12-pane sash windows with moulded stone sills with aprons and
flat-arched painted stone heads with voussoirs and scrolled
keystones. Doorway to No.2 to left, a 4-panelled door in
moulded architrave. Plain string courses between the storeys,
moulded eaves. Stepped coped eaves possibly partially rebuilt.
Rear wall and right-hand gable stacks.
INTERIOR: divided internally to the left of the entrance hall,
and retains an early staircase.
