House, now in commercial use. Possibly late C17, but
substantially altered. Painted brick with slate roof. 3
storeys, 3-window range, the gable facing the street. Inserted
shop front to ground floor, and inserted windows above, the
segmentally-arched heads of earlier window openings still
visible. 3-windows to attic storey. Heavy brick dentilled
cornice in side elevation.
INTERIOR: retains late C18 staircase with turned spindles and
heavily moulded rail.
