House now flats. Early C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, hipped
slate roof with lead dressings, 2 wall stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys plus basement, 5-bay front arranged 2:1:2,
the centre bay slightly advanced. Ashlar plinth, stone bands
between storeys, overhanging eaves with panelled soffit and
paired carved brackets. Cast-iron. Central panelled door with
carved roundel, flanked by narrow side lights, having large
segmental traceried fanlight. Open porch with single plain
Doric columns, up 3 steps. Flanked by pair of plain sashes
with fanlights.
To 1st floor a pair of French windows, with segmental fanlight
gives access to a wrought-iron balcony on top of the porch
with anthemion frieze. Flanked by pairs of windows, as the
gound floor, all with wrought-iron balconies on brackets.
To 2nd floor 5 glazing bar sashes. All sash windows have flat
rubbed brick arches with keystones. The basement area has iron
railings.
