House. c.1700 with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-framed with C19 gault brick skin (mainly colourwashed) and Roman tile roof with brick left centre ridge stack. 3-unit plan. Single storey and attic. Front has part-glazed door to left, 2 2-light casements, and plank door to right. Old 2-light Lincolnshire dormer over. On left end a single-light casement with 3-light over and on right end 2 single-light casements. Lean-to to rear under a catslide roof, mainly of C20 character, has 3-light and various single-light windows and an old plank door to rear. INTERIOR. Much tall panel framing visible. In centre room on the rear wall a diamond mullion window now internal. Open fireplace with bressumer and hood. Bridging beam with ogee stops to chamfers on one end. Framed partition leading to left room. Here C20 stairs to first floor where over two of the three units the original collar rafter roof with trenched purlins. Framing visible in gable ends and in partition next to the stack, the hood of which is visible.
The framing of the house remains little altered under the later brick skin.
