House. Circa 1840. Stuccoed, lined as ashlar; painted brick rear wing. Slate 2-span roof with gabled ends with ornate pierced bargeboards. Stuccoed stacks with cornices and square yellow clay pots.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front with two gables with ornate pierced bargeboards and pendants, centre recessed with moulded string over moulded 4-centred arch doorway with panelled and glazed double doors and fanlight; windows have hoodmoulds, centre first floor sash with glazing bars with margin panes, blind to left and right. 2-window right-hand return, sashes with glazing bars and hoodmoulds, ground floor left a French casement. Similar left return, but 3-windows and two French casements on ground floor, all with hoodmoulds. Panelled and glazed rear door. Rear wing has multi-pane cast-iron windows.
INTERIOR not inspected, but is believed to have original features.
An example of an early Victorian stuccoed villa, complete with many original features.
