House, forms part of a terrace built as 4 separate phases.
Early C19 with later additions and alterations. Brindled brick
with stucco dressings. Hand-made plain clay tiles to hipped
roof partially concealed by coped parapet. Stack With pots and
oversailing detail to left. Single-depth plan turned at
right-angles to road; entrance offset right in No.44 (qv).
Similar facade to No.44 (qv) but narrower and lower. 3 storeys
and basement. Single first-floor window. Stucco detailing
includes sills and chanelled wedge lintels with keystones.
Windows are 8/8 except to second-floor which is 4/4; all near
flush. Entrance door is 6-panel, bottom pair flush-beaded,
otherwise raised and fielded; doorcase with open pediment,
panelled pilasters on fluted plinths.
