Piers, steps and walls on SW side of
entrance forecourt to Moor Close

Piers, steps and walls forming part of the entrance forecourt
to Moor Close (qv). 1911, by Oliver Hill. Red brick and York
stone. Flight of 5 and 4 rectangular stone steps flanked at
the lower level by 2 panelled brick piers with moulded stone
bases and caps. To left brick retaining wall in English bond
with weathered top, links left-hand pier to pergola court
(qv).
