Farmhouse, now house. Mid C16, extended C17 and C18. Altered
and extended late C20.
MATERIALS: part timber frame with painted render infill, part
painted render, part painted brick, old tile gabled roof of
different heights with catslide over pent at rear.
PLAN: 2-cell, baffle entry plan of 2 framed bays, with pent
extension at rear and further extension on right end.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2 chimneys, one with clay pot. C18 sash
windows with glazing bars, C20 leaded casement windows.
Entrance front, to south, left section, irregular with timber
frame exposed. Single 2-light window and one 4-light window on
first floor. Two 2-light windows on ground floor on either
side of C20 entrance door under tiled lean-to open porch.
Single bay extension on right with sash windows and dentilled
eaves.
INTERIOR: timber frame exposed with jowled posts and arch
braces. Joists in sitting room are chamfered with shield
stops. Those in the second sitting room are plain.
