Wall and gate piers to the Biggleswade Pump House and Pumpmaster's House. c.1906. Snecked sandstone for a length of about 25m with chamfered stone copings. 6 square piers to Great North Road with stone cyma recta caps. Wall approximately one-third height of piers. At north end, circular entrance pier attached to wall and separate pier, both with stone conical tops and ball. Railings have been removed.
NOTE: This forms the entrance wall to the 1906 Pump House and Pump Master's House that are listed separately.
The asset was previously listed twice also under List entry 1114502. This entry was removed from the List on 23 June 2014.
