Formerly known as: No.147 Scott House DE MONTALT ROAD Combe Down. Detached house. Mid/late C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar with Welsh slate roof. Formal detached villa with central entrance.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, three-bays. Banded rustication to ground floor. Central Ionic porch with part glazed door. Flanked by two/two sashes in plain reveals. First floor string course. Three windows with two/two sashes, moulded architrave, cornice and sill brackets. Deep eaves on timber modillions, hipped roof, two tall ashlar stacks, one with pots. Plain side elevations, additional stack at rear. Rear elevation not seen.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. One of a row of similar villas along Church Road taking advantage of the panoramic views to the South.
