Detached villa. Mid C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate roof.
PLAN: Compact block with double roof to gables and central valley, large later rear wing with verandah over open arcade.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, three windows, all plain sash, each side of centre stone canted bay to cornice and parapet, with central sash at first floor above enclosed ashlar porch with round arched entrance and small windows in cheeks, impost band, cornice and parapet, with four-panel door and transom light. Main
range has coved cornice, blocking course and parapet, and each coped gable end has ashlar stacks, four in all. At rear, left, deep gabled wing, with tent verandah on six fretted standards, above ashlar arcade.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. One of a group of villas along the north side of Church
Road, with panoramic views over the countryside to the south.
