Row of four houses stepped uphill from No.1 to left. Early C19 with C20 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, pantile roofs with moulded stacks to party walls and right return.
PLAN: Single depth plans with rear additions. No.1 later with eaves of the roof (hipped to the left), at frieze level of No.2, C20 two storey rear extension.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys. Nos 1 and 2 are each one-window range and now one dwelling, Nos 3 and 4 are each two-window range. Nos 1 and 2 are painted to ground floor with C20 windows to first floor, C20 doors to left of six/six-pane sash window to No.1 and ten/ten-pane sash window to No.2 under wide timber lintel. No.2 has coped parapet, cornice and frieze. No.3 has coped parapet, cornice, frieze and chamfered arrises to six/six-pane sash windows, that to the ground floor right under wide timber lintel. C20 door. No.4 to right end has coped parapet, cornice, frieze, chamfered arrises to C19 horned plate glass sash windows and five-panel door to left with one glazed panel to top.
