GV II

Three terrace houses stepped uphill to the right. Early C19, probably rebuilt after the previous houses were destroyed in the floods of 1809 with C20 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, double pitched pantile roofs with moulded stacks to right party walls.
PLAN: Double depth.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys. Stepped low coped parapets, stopped coved cornices, ground floor platbands over timber bressummers, plinths and doors to the left. No.16 is a two window front with paired six/six pane sash windows to the upper floors, a margin paned six/six pane sash to the ground floor and a six panel door glazed to the top with an iron knocker. No.17 is a single window front with margin panes to six/six pane sash windows and a C20 door. No.18 is similar.
