Includes: Belvedere Cottage UPPER HEDGEMEAD ROAD.
Shop projecting from the rear of Nos. 26 and 26A Belvedere (qv) with an entrance on the north front in Upper Hedgemead Road on a site that slopes sharply down to the rear. Early C19, altered c1870 and C20.
MATERIALS: Painted limestone ashlar, roof unseen with a moulded stack to the rear.
PLAN: Double depth.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and lower ground floor to the rear; single window front. Returned coped parapet and cornice, low parapet to the rear. Painted splayed reveals to a plate glass window above a projecting shop with a flat roof, a c1870 six pane shop window to the left and a six panel door to the right. Two six/six pane sash windows to the first floor of the left return, one to the ground floor. C20 windows to the returns of the projecting shop.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
