House, part of irregular terrace stepped uphill from left with principal facade on west, rear garden side. 1805, extended c1860.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate and pantile roofs with various moulded stacks.
PLAN: L-plan with single storey infill.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, one window to street front, three windows to c1860 garden front. 1805 block to right encircled by coped parapet and cornice, ground floor platband continues around c1860 block. Plate glass sash windows, one to second floor front has area raised surround with bracketed sill. First floor has timber infill to large opening formerly to canted oriel, now with horizontal glazing bars to two/two-pane triple sash window. Three windows to ground floor right. Left return has canted oriel to second floor. c1860 block to left has hipped pantile roof and one window to each floor. Single storey infill to south-east corner said to contain a well.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
HISTORY: The deeds provide the date of construction of 1805. The projected price for the house of 1805 was £500, it eventually rose to £1,000.
