House, part of semi-balanced terrace. Late C18, altered late C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, painted on ground floor, Welsh slate roof.
PLAN: Double depth plan with staircase to front.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic and basement, two bays, of which left hand one projects in plane with No.2 Gloucester Street (qv) while right hand one in plane with No.2 (qv). Ground floor has Doric pedimented doorcase with six panel door in left hand bay, plain sash in splayed reveal to right. Platband at first floor level. Two plain sashes of differing sizes on first floor, but both have sills dropped below continuous string course. Second floor has two plain sashes but only left hand one has dropped sill. Cornice, parapet, mansard roof with stone verges and one mullion and transom dormer. Shared ashlar stacks to right hand. Rear elevation not seen.
