House, part of an irregular terrace backing onto Kennet and Avon Canal. c1830.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, roof unseen with moulded stacks to gable ends and left-of-centre ridge.
PLAN: L-plan with projecting south (or left) wing.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and lower ground floor, four-window front with central Ionic porch, consisting of an advanced one-bay wing to south, and recessed three bays to north. Coped parapet, cornice, first floor sill band, ground floor platband and plinth; plate glass sash windows, those to ground floor with cornices on consoles, that to left bay of ground floor is blind. Cornice and pilasters to former doorcase are fronted by later prostyle portico with Ionic columns and entablature. Six-panel door has circular panels to base and top, margin lights and overlights. Two first floor windows flanking portico have balconettes.
