Shop with accommodation over. Late C18 with C20 additions.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, C20 slate roof hipped to left with dormers to front and one to left return, no visible stacks.
PLAN: Double depth plan.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and attic, two-window front with left corner slightly canted back. Returned coped parapet, stopped coved cornice, six/six-pane sash windows, restored shopfront, two windows to first floor of left return, one window to left of ground floor and C20 door to right.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
HISTORY: This building was erected in front of the mid 1760s row that connected Chatham Row and Gibbs's Court, and represents an in-filling of this open space, part of the increasingly dense development of this area in the later Georgian period.
