GV II

Gate piers and gates. Mid to late C19. Ashlar, cast or wrought iron. Pair of tall piers c750mm square, on deep moulded bases, with mid band, heavy moulded entablature and blockings with large decorative urns. Right hand pier has original bell-pull and escutcheon. Hung to these; pair of heavy iron gates with twisted rails and curved bracing, dog bars and mid-rail, and decorative open fleur-de-lys finials to every fourth bar.
