Summary

A boundary wall defining one side of a former carriage turning circle. Built around 1900 for Joseph Lucas.

MATERIALS: brick walling with stone ball finials and steps.

PLAN: a symmetrical with central semi-circular wall flanked by straight sections.

DETAILS: a low brick wall with curved brick coping and brick piers with stone cornices and ball finials at intervals. The straight side sections incorporate stone steps leading from the drive to the park.

History


A wall defining one side of the former carriage turning circle at Foxhunt Manor. Foxhunt Manor was built in 1898 for a builder and Congregational Minister, Joseph Lucas JP.
