Description

Circa 1820, 2-storey, wide 3-bay S facing house with later
single-storey and attic, 2-bay rear wing. Harled with
self-coloured painted tooled ashlar dressings and margins.
Centre door with Gibbsian surround; double leaf panelled
doors. Shorter 1st floor fenestration; single windows in
ground floor of each return gable; sash windows, 4- and
12-pane glazing; shouldered end stacks; piended platform
slate roof.

Statement of Interest

Large mound beside house resembles early motte.
