Probably William Leiper, circa 1884. Simple single storey,
3-bay gate lodge; symmetrical south front; red tile-hung
walling with decorative scalloped banding. Centre door
protected by simple gable canopied porch supported on plain
wooden columns incorporating plain side bench seats. White
painted rustic detailing to porch gable. 9-pane glazing;
end stacks; steeply piended slate roof with red tile ridge
and end pottery finials.
Unusual cladding material for West Highlands. Said to have
been built for foreman of builders constructing
Kinlochmoidart House.
