Description

Mid and later 19th century. L-plan, single storey former
school. Squared rubble with some pinning to S, random
rubble to other elevations. Droved ashlar dressings,
quoins and raised cills. Openings to N chamfered.
S ELEVATION: advanced gabled bay at centre with bipartite
light and carved triangular opening to gable head with
louvring; bipartites to recessed outer bays, broader to
right. W gable with birdcage bellcote gabled addition to
N. Inserted door. Adjoins house to E.
Sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing. Timber
mullions to bipartites. Gablet skews with simple
skewputts. Slate roof.
