Description

Late 18th century, length of high rubble wall with rubble
cope, abutting Castle Stret continuously between angle with
West Street and Gordon Chapel. Pedestrian doorway with ashlar
lintel close to Gordon Chapel, opens into park.

Wall returns along West Street; see West Street entry.

Replaced earlier 'pealing' (paling) indicated in estate map

of 1783.
