Description

1800-20. 2-storey, 2-bay house. Harled, tooled ashlar
margins. Recessed entrance at right with panelled door under
radial fanlight. Multi-pane glazing to wide sash windows, 1
at ground, 2 at 1st. Coped end stacks; slate roof.
Catslide roof to rear with 2 substantial gabled dormers.
INTERIOR: D-ended room in ground and 1st floor; both with
panelled dados, window shutters, curved panelled doors and
built in round-headed alcove. Beaded panelling with both
rectangular and octagonal panels.
Coped rubble garden walls enclose property, fronting Gordon
Street and at rear, Castle Street.
