Early 19th century. Single storey symmetrical estate cottage with centre bow with timber mullioned tripartite window to S (principal) elevation. Coursed granite. Broad eaves on console brackets. 20th century timber addition to rear.
INTERIOR: extensively modernised.
Mixture of plate glass and 4 pane timber sash and case windows. Bell-cast piended roof with graded grey slate. Tall coped end stacks.
This is a good example of a well proportioned estate cottage within the policies of Invercauld House (see separate listing). The central bow front and distinctive bell-cast piended roof distinguishes it from the more standard cottages.
