Dated 1788. Single span road bridge with segmental-headed arch. Rubble with droved red sandstone dressings and rounded rubble coping. Narrow arch ring and partially remaining band course at base of parapet. Alternate (projecting) red sandstone voussoirs. 3 red sandstone pierced quatrefoil panels to centre of parapet to N side; one blocked quatrefoil panel to right. 2 pierced red sandstone quatrefoil panels to parapet (to left of arch) to S side; 3 blocked paritally remaining quatrefoil panels to centre. Said to be inscribed '1788' on stone at the end of the parapet.
An unusually decorative late 18th century country road bridge (the pierced quatrefoil panels are a gesture to the Gothick style). The parapet has been rebuilt.
