Description

1823. Single storey, 3 bay, rectangular plan cottage with later addition to rear. Tooled squared sandstone front with polished dressings; long and short rusticated quoins.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical, comprising central glazed timber door with letterbox fanlight; pointed arched windows to flanking bays; lean to additions to outer left and right, with boarded timber door and glazed timber doors respectively .

NE, NW, AND SW ELEVATIONS: not seen 1997.

Timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slate roof with regularly placed slate ventilators and lead ridge; stone skews; cast iron rainwater goods; coped gablehead stacks with circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

Similar to No 54 Dewartown (see separate list description) but without traceried windows.
