Description

Andrew Heiton, circa 1885. T-plan single storey lodge. Bull-faced rubble basecourse, harled elevations, slated roof with red ridge tiles and small plume finials at gable apices. 5-light rectangular timber bay windows on rubble bases at E and S gable ends. Timber bargeboards pierced with quatrefoils and supported on simple timber brackets; bay windows transomed, upper panes leaded, lower panes plate glass. Catslide roof swept down over entrance porch in NE re-entrant angle. Flat-roofed (original) ?boiler room in rear SW re-entrant angle. Single centre ridge stack. Nothing of original interior survives.
