Description

Mid-later 19th century, asymmetrical gabled 2-storey,
3-bay dwelling. All rubble with tooled dressings. North facing
with near centre pointed-headed entrance flanked by transomed
and mullioned tripartites, to east in slightly advanced
gabled bay with similar bipartite in 1st floor. 2 gabletted
dormers. Transomed and mullioned tripartites and bipartite
in west gable, and 4-light version in ground floor of east
elevation and single dormer as in front. Hoodmoulds to all
principal windows; single and 4-pane glazing. Tall ridge
and end stacks with string course detailing; steeply
pitched local slate roofs. Rear: to SW a later 2-storey, single
bay wing. Long white-washed rubble single storey range of
offices runs across remainder of rear, probably former
dwelling.
