Description

Dated 1849. Tall-T-plan church; rubble tooled ashlar
dressings. North elevation; centre projecting aisle facing
road, with round-headed entrance in re-entrant angle; long
round-headed windows in outer flanking bays; smaller, similar
windows in north, east and west gables.
South elevation; paired long round-headed windows flank
centre projecting gabled Minister's porch, with side entrance
approached by forestair, and apex stack. Round-headed
entrances in outer bays with fanlights.
Multi-pane glazing; bellcote at west gable apex; dated
urn finial at east; slate roof.
Interior; 5-sided galleried interior with original fittings;
3-tier pulpit with sounding board; original pews.
Gate piers; pair panelled ashlar gate piers with shaped
finials; similarly detailed end piers, linked by low coped
rubble wall; simple modern metal railing.
