Description

Early 19th century, single storey 3-bay cottage with rear

wing; altered and raised circa 1900 with Tudor details.

Rubble-built with ashlar dressings. West elevation:

central doorway, 2-leaf glazed and panelled door;

hoodmoulded tripartites in outer bays with Tudor-arched

lights (central and right bays behind modern verandah). Wall head heightened with timber panelling below deeply projecting eaves on front elevation; built-up with masonry at gable ends. 2 tripartite dormers with shallow pitched and timber framed gables also with projecting eaves. End stacks; slate roof.

2-bay rear wing has rustic timbered and slated porch to Burnfoot Road; 2 bipartite dormers above with swept roofs.
