Description

Mid 19th century. Single storey pair of 3-bay, symmetrical
cottages. Squared and snecked red sandstone with stugged
ashlar dressings.
N ELEVATION: each cottage with door at centre, with line of
former gabled porches surviving. Single windows to inner bays
and timber mullioned bipartites to outer bays, probably
enlarged later from former single windows, but possibly
original. Blank end gables.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Grey
slates: raised ashlar skews and gable end and mutual gable
stacks.
