Description

Late 18th century, 2-storey, 3-bay house with circa 1800 rear
wing making L-plan house. Red sandstone rubble, squared and
snecked to front and W side; base course and chamfered
arrises (circa 1840) to S.
S (STREET) ELEVATION: door at centre, flanked by windows,
with windows at each bay at 1st floor. Single storey former
cottage adjoined to outer right.
N ELEVATION: wing projecting from centre and left, adjoined
at ground by lean-to outbuilding by terraced garden to N.
Doorway on W side of wing, with irregular and altered
windows.
Blank W gable.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Gable end
stacks; ashlar coped skews; pantiles.
