Mid 19th century, 2-storey 3-bay house made L-plan by later
19th century wing added at rear, with further additions at
ground. Squared and snecked rubble with ashlar margins; base
course and raised quoins to S.
S ELEVATION: deep set fanlit doorway at centre, with panelled
door, flanked by windows at ground; windows to each bay at
1st floor.
N ELEVATION: blank wall to later extension projecting at
centre and to right. 2 piend-roofed single storey additions
at ground.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Shouldered
ashlar gable end stacks; slated piend roof.
WALLS AND GATEPIERS: ashlar coping to squared red rubble
retaining walls. Square ashlar piers.
Former Manse to former Free Church to E, completed by 1862,
when the debt was cleared.
