Mid-late 17th century lectern cote; rubble with ashlar
dressings and long/short quoins. Small doorway in west gable,
with (later?) doorway above in 1st floor; blocked square
vents at ground floor, south and east. 2 small sets of
flight-holes high in both gables, and single row in shallow
swept dormer; 2 rat ledges; coped parapet to north wall
capped with 5 ball finials (1 missing) and painted metal
weathervane depicting man in hunting dress carrying gun.
Crowsteps; worn Macleod crest on both cavetto skewputts,
Ballachulish slate roof. Approximately 400 stone nesting
boxes in upper floor.
Access to ground floor chamber not possible. Cote appears to
have pigeon accommodation reduced, and confined to upper
floor reached by later door. Worn datestones on lintel with
initial CR Crest on skewputts as on Cadboll House
