Description

Alexander Reid, A & W Reid, Elgin, circa 1850. Gabled single storey and attic L-plan gate lodge. Harled with tooled ashlar granite margins and dressings. Gabled porch in re-entrant angle; flanking shallow projecting rectangular window in S gable (to drive): ashlar canopy to E window. 2 small modern dormer windows; modern lattice-pane glazing. Centre ridge battery of 3 coped axial stacks mounted on margined rectangular base; granite apex finial; circa 1990 weathervane; slate roof. Coped skews and bracketted skewputts. Flat-roofed extension at rear.
