Built circa 1737; 4-arch bridge spanning Water of Dee at
Bridge of Dee village. Rubble built throughout with
V-cutwater buttresses and semi-circular arches. Rubble
parapets with squared granite coping, rebuilt. Shallow
spalyed embrasures. 186ft in all, each arch approximately
30-40ft.
In 18th century known as Granny Ford Bridge and marked as
such on Ainslies map of 1797.
