Circa 1830. Symmetrical 2-storey 3-bay house with flanking
single storey single bay pavilions, Gothic detailing to rear,
that to front has been altered in later 19th century. Front
elevation rendered, rear elevation harled over brick.
FRONT ELEVATION: formerly with brick gabled porch to centre,
now removed, canted single storey bay windows flank doorway,
these are later 19th-century alterations. Narrow
basket-arched doorway, partly glazed door, fanlight. 3 1st
floor windows, all sash and case with 4-pane glazing. Single
4-pane sashes to pavilions.
REAR ELEVATION: central projecting 2-storey gabled bay, Roman
Doric pilastered porch, panelled door. All windows shallow
basket-arch, with timber mullion dividing 2 pointed-arch
lights, sash and case with 4 panes to each sash.
Deeply overhanging picturesque bracketted eaves, piended
slate roofs. Tall corniced end stacks, octagonal cans.
Single storey harled piend-roofed wash house. 5-bay front,
deeply overhanging bracketted eaves, coped brick stack to
rear wallhead.
Unusually, Enrick may be wholly of brick construction,
possibly of locally made Gatehouse bricks.
