Description

Probably circa 1830. 2-storey 3-bay farmhouse and steading

with tall barn at west. All rubble-built with ashlar

dressings, red ashlar dressings of house exposed, remainder

all whitewashed. All roofed with graded slates. HOUSE:

narrow central door to south elevation, with bracketted hood; small-panes sash windows coped stacks; full-height rear wing.

BARN 2 storeys, 8 bays; cartshed at south end, off-centre

door with tall flanking slits, square loft door above; narrow

loft openings. Low door on south gable, access to former mill

gearing area.
