Post 1848. Former coal store. Single storey; rectangular-plan. Rubble. Red brick quoins and margins. Piended roof. Window openings blocked.
E (TERALLY BAY) ELEVATION: machinery door, with timber lintel, at centre; window openings to left and right.
W (A716) ELEVATION: 6 window openings.
N AND S ELEVATIONS: blank.
Grey slates. Concrete ridging. 3 rooflights to E pitch, 2 to W pitch, and 1 to S pitch.
The Coal Store is situated at Terally Bay by the A716. The Coal Store is not marked on the OS Map of 1848. This building was used for storing coal brought in by sea for use at Terally Brick and Tile Works. The remains of Terally Brick and Tile Works are situated to the south-west, and are listed separately.
