Description

Early 19th century. Single storey, Classical rectangular-plan former gazebo with canted end, interior fitted as laundry. Roofless and part ruinous. Ashlar-faced with ashlar margins and dressings; stugged squared and snecked gable. Cornice. Blocking course; base course. Round-arched doors set within recessed round-arched openings; bipartite windows.

N (MAIN) ELEVATION: canted front, round-arched door at centre, flanking bipartites, window to left now with missing central mullion.

W and E ELEVATIONS: square bay advanced, round-arched window within round-arched ashlar frame.

S ELEVATION: blank gable with moulding around gable.

No windows; roofless. Part of corniced apex stack on S gable.

INTERIOR: overgrown. Cement-lined with cast-iron pipes; ledges; pits.
