Description

Later 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house, with classical
details. Sandstone rubble, squared and with broad droving to
W elevation; ashlar margins and rusticated quoins.
W ELEVATION: Gibbsian doorpiece at centre, with moulded
cornice; panelled door; windows in flanking bays at ground
and to each bay at 1st floor.
S ELEVATION: line of former neighbouring building evident
above present piend roofed single storey addition at ground.
2-bay house to N.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Ashlar
coped skews. Grey slates. Gable end stacks; original cans
retained.
