John Willet, Engineer; James Abernethy, Aberdeen, Founders;
dated 1872. 6-span bridge, the centre 4 spans carried by
ribbed cast-iron segmental arch rings; outer spans with
brick lined arch rings. Bullfaced grey granite piers with
triangular cutwaters; contrasting pink granite end
balustrades with tooled granite copes linking metal
balusters over each metal arch.

outer spans - 25'
centre spans - 40'
Cutwaters and abutments may have been incorporated from
earlier bridge which appears on 1st OS circa 1870. Bridge
restored 1987-88.
