Description

Circa 1840. Single-storey and attic, 2-window and central

porch to front with 4-centred arched openings, original

glazing with Y-tracery; 2 small dormers. V-bay E gable.

Harled front, remainder rubble, all whitewashed. Plain chamfered gatepiers.

Statement of Interest

Ardmiddle (formerly Scobach) house has been completely

demolished. The home farm is in a ruinous condition. The

mansionhouse was 'recently built' in 1842 (see NSA v 12 p

995) and was neo-Tudor in style.
