Description

Circa 1800. Single arch, segmental-arched road bridge over burn.

Rubble sandstone masonry, irregular stugged voussoirs, rounded coping.

Statement of Interest

The bridge is probably contemporary with others in Tealing Parish which may derive from the agricultural improvements and drainage schemes of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
