Description

Various 17th, 18th and 19th century tombstones, including some table-tombs. Dry stone rubble enclosing walls with cast-iron railings and gates at W, flat coping at S and W with inscriptions such as ?short toil, eternal rest? on inside. There are also numbered stones and the inscription ?ten trees planted 1896?. Adjoining the gatepiers on the N wall is the sculpted remains of an angel bearing a shield with the Fothringham arms.

GATEPIERS: 2 round-headed monolithic gatepiers at W; 2 ashlar gatepiers at N with moulded caps.

The churchyard incorporates a later extension to the north. The church is listed separately above.
